Ingredients
- 2 cups Cooked Rice
- 1 can Spam (Diced) *You can start by adding just ½ a can for a less salty spam ball and adjust to your taste*
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce

- 2 packs Roasted Seaweed Snacks (crumbled)
- Furikake (Garnish - Optional)
- Kewpie Mayo (Garnish - Optional)
Instructions
- **You can use left over rice that's been slightly warmed up, or fresh cooked rice that's cooled down. Using very hot rice will cause the balls to fall apart**

- 2. Combine the cooked spam with white rice, soy sauce and sesame oil. Crumble the roasted seaweed and mix well.
- 3. Scoop about ⅛ cup or 2 tablespoons of rice and press together firmly and roll into a ball.
- 4. Repeat until all the rice has been formed into balls. This should make about 20 balls.

My balls are falling apart. I followed the recipe. How do I make them stick together?
The Savory Chopstick says
Hi Sorry for the delayed reply! The rice does need to be fresh but needs to cool down a bit. You will need to smush the balls with both hands to mold them. This works best with short to medium grain rice since it is more sticky.

Hi Sharon,
Thanks for sharing this awesome recipe. Did this for dinner tonight, it tastes amazing and truly easy to prepare.
Next time I will dice my spam a little smaller so they don’t keep falling off the rice balls.
