This creamy garlic chicken recipe has quickly become a family favorite. From the hearty chicken, the rich and svory sauce, this dish is a sure plate scraper.

Ingredients for Creamy Garlic Chicken:
- 3 lbs chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp butter
- 10 cloves garlic
- 1 ¼ tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 8oz spinach
- 1-1.5 cups heavy cream
- 2 tbsp shredded parmesan
- 1 tbsp corn starch (to thicken sauce optional)
Optional Sides
Instructions
- 1. If you would like to serve this with mashed potatoes or pasta, start boiling the water first.
- 2. Melt 2 tablespoon butter in a pan in medium heat.
- 3. While butter is melting , Season chicken on both sides with onion powder, garlic salt and black pepper
- 4. Once butter has melted add garlic for 1-2 min and watch closely to make sure it doesn't burn
- 5. Add chicken to pan skin side down (if your chicken has skin)


- 6. Cook for 7-10 minutes until browned.
- 7. Boil potatoes or pasta if cooking.
- 8. Flip over the chicken and cook for another 7-10 minutes.
- 9. Add in 1-1.5cup heavy cream, and spinach. Cook uncovered and let simmer for about 5 minutes. **If you prefer a thicker sauce, combine 1 tablespoon corn starch to 2 tablespoon water , mix and pour into sauce


- 10. Turn off heat once spinach is cooked
- 11. Taste sauce and more salt if needed.
- 12. Top with Parmesan
- 13. Enjoy with mashed potatoes or with buttered pasta!
