The origins of Mango Sago and Nata de Coco ( Coconut Jelly) can be traced back to Southeast Asia, where coconut and tropical fruits are abundant. The combination of sago, a starchy grain made from the pith of tropical palm stems, with coconut jelly and Mango creates a dessert that is both refreshing and satisfying. The use of sago in desserts is common in Southeast Asian cuisine, where it is often paired with coconut milk to create a creamy and luscious texture. The addition of Mango adds a burst of tropical flavor and tanginess to the dessert, making it even more irresistible. Over time, this delightful fusion of flavors has gained popularity worldwide, and today, it is enjoyed by dessert lovers of all ages.

๐ Substitutions
This Tapioca dessert is very versatile and you can use any of these milks or any combination you prefer.
- Heavy Cream - has high milkfat content, making this dessert rich and satisfying
- Half & Half - is a mix of equal parts milk and cream, lighter than heavy cream, but still yields a delicious result
- Coconut Milk - is a creamy liquid from grated coconut flesh adding a tropical element to this recipe. Since we are sweetening with condensed milk, its best to use unsweetened coconut milk.
