After you try these Chicken Cracklings, you won't be throwing chicken skins away again. I usually like to season my chicken skins with garlic salt, black pepper, onion and paprika, but get creative and season with whatever you like!

Ingredients
- 8 chicken skins (I usually remove from chicken thighs if not cooking with them)
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ ¼ garlic powder
- ¼ ¼ black pepper

Air Fryer instructions:
- 1. Remove chicken skins from chicken, and pat dry.

- 1. Preheat oven to 400F for Convection Bake. For non Convection mode preheat to 425F.
- 2. Remove chicken skins from chicken, and pat dry.
- 3. Prepare a cooking rack on a baking sheet, and line with foil for easier clean up.
- 4. Place skin side down on cooking rack and season with only salt. Additional spices added during cooking will burn.
- 5. Bake for 20 minutes, and flip halfway.
- 6. If there are some fattier parts of the skins that look like they need more cooking, cook an additional 1-2 minutes.
- 7. This skins will not be completely hard until they have cooled down, but should be golden.
- 8. Let cool for a few minutes and season with garlic salt, onion powder, black pepper and paprika, or your preferred spices.

**Go light on the salt since the skins shrink while air frying. You can also sprinkle on salt after air frying.
