With just a few simple ingredients, and a few easy steps, you too can have Kalua Pork on the table in less than 2 hours.
Did you know that TRADITIONALLY, Kalua Pork is cooked in an IMU, an underground oven?
While I have tried to make this Kalua Pork recipe in a slow cooker with excellent results, The time it takes in a slow cooker is similar to how long it would take to cook the traditional way, 6+ hours in the Imu. Cooking Kalua Pork in the Pressure cooker (Instant Pot) saves hours of time and results in tender juicy meat.
