Garnish

  • 5 stems cilantro (sliced)
  • 1 stalk green onion (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon fried garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Szechuan chili oil

Instructions
 

  • Boil water and cook dumplings according to package directions. Stir the dumplings after 1-2 minutes to ensure it doesn't stick to the pan.
  • While the dumplings are cooking, mince garlic, and slice green onions and cilantro
  • Into a soup bowl combine :
    ½ tablespoon garlic (minced), 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce - Low Sodium, 1 teaspoon dried shrimp, 1 teaspoon black vinegar, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, 1.5 teaspoon chicken powder, 5 stems cilantro (sliced), 1 stalk green onion (sliced), 1 tablespoon Szechuan chili oil
  • Once the dumplings are done, scoop out ⅔ cup of the cooking liquid, and add to your soup bowl.
  • Strain the dumplings and add to your soup bowl. Garnish with garlic and extra chili oil.
  • If you would like a soupier dish, double the cooking liquid and seasonings.
