Gyudon Easy Japanese Beef and Rice bowl Only 20 minutes

Heat pan to medium , and add 1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon Oil
Slice onions and green onions
1 Onion (Large or 2 small), 2 stalks Green Onions (1 stalk for garnish optional)
Add the sliced onions and half of your chopped green onions into the pan
Into a mixing cup combine all the ingredients but the Beef and onions. Combine and mix the ingredients below:
1.5 tablespoon Dashi Powder (Hondashi Bonito Stock), 1 cup Chicken Broth, 2 tablespoon Mirin Rice Seasoning, 2 tablespoon Sake or Mirin Cooking Sake, 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce – Low Sodium, ½ tablespoon Dark Soy Sauce, ½ tablespoon Sugar
Once the onions are aromatic, add the sliced beef and let brown in the pan.
1 lb Thinly Sliced Beef (I used beef chuck)
Once the beef is browned, Add the sauce and make sure all the beef slices have separated.
While the beef is cooking, prepare your egg. (If using)
The beef should just take around 5 minutes to cook since it is so thin. Once the meat is no longer pink, it should be ready.
Serve over rice, and top with egg , green onion and chili flakes (optional)
Chili Flakes Shichimi Togarashi (optional), 1-2 eggs (optional)
