With the help of an AIR FRYER, Doritos Chicken Tenders only take 20 minutes start to finish! Not on team Air Fryer yet? It's ok, I got you! Doritos Chicken Tenders can be made in the oven, and will only take you 30 minutes.
Crush the Doritos by using a food processor or blender, or crush by hand in a plastic bag. The mixture should be crushed with some slightly larger pieces for texture.
Pour the Doritos crumbs into a bowl
If using Eggs and Flour:
If using Eggs and Flour, Beat 2 eggs into a bowl, and into a separate bowl combine ½ cup flour with the following seasonings:
Prepare your dredging stations, Flour, Egg and Crushed Doritos
First Dip your chicken into the flour mix and shake off the excess
Coat the chicken with egg on all sides, letting the excess drip off
Add the chicken to the crushed Doritos and use a spoon to scoop Doritos over the Chicken and with chips. Use your hands or spoon to press the Doritos onto the chicken, and carefully transfer to Air Fryer. Repeat until done.
If Air Frying spray the Air Fryer Basket and the Chicken with oil. Air Fry at 380 for 8-10 minutes and flip at the 4 minute mark. Cook until Internal Temperature reaches 165 deg. Start checking the Chicken for doneness with a meat thermometer between 7-8 minutes.
If using an Oven, Spray the chicken that has been placed on the metal rack. Bake at 400 def F for 15-20 minutes and flip at the 8 minute mark. Cook until Internal Temperature reaches 165 deg. Start checking the Chicken for doneness with a meat thermometer at 15 minutes.

If using Mayo/Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt:
If not using Eggs and flour, Combine Mayo into a bowl with the following seasonings:
¼ teaspoon Black Pepper, 1.5 teaspoon Garlic Salt, 1 teaspoon Onion Powder, ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
Add the Chicken to the mixing bowl with the Mayo
Remove Chicken one by one and add to the Doritos mixture. Use a spoon to scoop Doritos over the Chicken and with chips. Use your hands or spoon to press the Doritos onto the chicken, and carefully transfer to Air Fryer or Baking Rack. Repeat until done
