This Loco Moco is easily one of my favorite quick easy weeknight recipes. In 30 minutes flat, this recipe is sure to please even the pickiest of eaters.
Combine ground beef with the seasonings and mix well:
¼ teaspoon Smoked Paprika, ½ teaspoon Salt, ½ teaspoon Pepper, ½ teaspoon Onion Powder , ½ teaspoon Garlic Salt, ½ teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
Form into 10 patties approx ⅓lb each. I used a round cookie cutter.
Don't forget to make the rice!
Heat up pan to medium heat , add oil.
Sear each side for 4 minutes each, season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Once all the patties are cooked, place to the side and cover with foil. Add butter and onions to the pan.
Once the onions are soft add the flour and stir until combined.
Slowly add the beef broth and water ¼ cup at a time making sure the liquid is fully absorbed and sauce is thickened before adding more. Be careful not to turn up the heat too high as the gravy can "break".
